We are a 501(c) 6, nonprofit organization that provides our collection of valuable resources and training to nonprofits throughout the United States. A key element of what we do is prescreen and vet our Cooperative Members, who are businesses that serve nonprofits and can be hired for their services, to ensure our nonprofits are getting the highest quality solutions essential to their operations.

About Danette L. O'Connell

With over 20 years of proven experience in finance and operations, Danette has been helping both for-profits and nonprofits start and grow since 2004. Her unique combination of divergent entrepreneurial thinking and expertise in strategic planning, financial planning, and business transformation has enabled her to position organizations for success through dynamic start-up, turnaround, merger, and accelerated growth periods.


Danette is a trusted leader, focused on building and managing all aspects of business transformation. Her reputation for delivering exceptional results through satisfied customers and growing businesses speaks volumes. She is a proud holder of an MBA in International Business, a Bachelor's in Business Administration, and an Associate's degree in Computer Management. Danette's passion for empowering nonprofits and dedication to making a positive impact in the world drives her work at The Nonprofit Cooperative.
