Danette L. O’Connell - Founder and Executive Director
Danette O'Connell has been helping for-profits and nonprofits start and grow since 2004 by empowering them with divergent entrepreneurial thinking and a unique combination of finance and operations experience. She has over 20 years of a proven track record in positioning organizations through dynamic start-up, turnaround, merger, and accelerated growth periods.
Ms. O'Connell is focused on building and managing all aspects of a business transformation. She is proficient in strategic planning, financial planning, and business transformation. She has gained a reputation through satisfied customers and growing businesses.
Ms. O'Connell holds an MBA in International Business, a Bachelor's in Business Administration, and an Associate's degree in Computer Management.
Jeanné Weidemann provides administrative support to The Nonprofit Cooperative. She is attentive to detail and enjoys what she does. Jeanné has a very big appreciation for nonprofit organizations and firmly believes in what The Nonprofit Cooperative stands for. She lives in South Africa in a small coastal town called Mossel Bay, she loves baking, decorating cakes and long hikes on the beach.
Dixy Valdez is a purpose-driven professional and creative entrepreneur, with a passion for marketing and sustainability. She has experience in working with international development agencies, fair-trade organizations and businesses and firmly believes in TNPC mission. Currently based between Ontario, Canada, and El Salvador she describes herself as life-long learner and community connector.
Dixy holds a Bachelor's degree in Design, with credentials in photography, and recently graduated from the Elevate Talent Program in Digital Marketing. She is the founder of the ethical homegoods brand "La Villa Goods", and is currently volunteering with Creato Community. She loves to travel, spend time in nature, the beach, and cooking.
